In every country, there’s national legislation that requires any telecommunication provider (including VoIP) to provide lawful interception capabilities to law enforcement agencies (LEA). That means any time an authorized request is created, a telecom provider must identify, monitor, and deliver all the electronic communication content of a specified groups or individuals. (Law Enforcement Agencies). Oasis Nexus can offer a hosted passive monitoring solution that is fully compliant to ETSI international standards (ETSI ES 201 671 V2.1.1).

Complying with this legislation is expensive and complex.
